1. What makes Kids & Sparks different from other initiatives?

Kids & Sparks combines creative expression through photography with inclusive physical activity to support children’s confidence, wellbeing, and self-expression.
The project focuses on transmission, empowerment, and human connection rather than performance or competition.

2. Why combine photography and sport?

Photography helps children express their perspective and tell their stories, while sport encourages confidence, energy, teamwork, and joy.
Together, they support a holistic development of body, mind, and creativity.

3. Is Kids & Sparks a short-term or long-term project?

Kids & Sparks is designed as a long-term initiative, built around sustainable partnerships, recurring workshops, exhibitions, and progressive international development.

Programs & Participation

4. How can a school participate?

As the project is currently in a structuring phase, the validation of a first pilot project is required before expanding further.
Schools are selected based on their needs, motivation, and capacity to host workshops.
An initial selection of 50 schools in Thailand and Laos has already been identified and will be contacted.
All workshops are free for both children and schools, and schools may also contact us directly to express interest.

5. Where can Kids & Sparks officially operate besides schools?

In addition to schools, Kids & Sparks may operate within:

  • community centers and youth centers,

  • local NGOs and associations,

  • cultural institutions (museums, cultural centers, galleries),

  • sports or socio-sport structures,

  • alternative or informal educational programs.
    All interventions are conducted through official partnerships and follow strict child protection guidelines.

6. What does a typical workshop look like?

Workshops combine:

  • age-appropriate physical activities,

  • photography sessions using provided equipment,

  • moments of discussion and reflection.
    Activities are designed to be inclusive, playful, and supportive.

7. In which countries does the project operate?

The project is currently focusing on pilot programs in Asia, with a vision to expand internationally through local partnerships.

8. What do children gain from participating?

Children develop creativity, self-confidence, teamwork skills, physical awareness, and the ability to express themselves freely and respectfully.

9. What if a child is shy or uncomfortable?

All activities are non-competitive and adapted to each child’s rhythm.
The environment is designed to be safe, caring, and pressure-free.

10. How are children protected during activities?

Children are supervised by responsible adults and partner institutions.
All activities follow clear safeguarding rules, age-appropriate safety guidelines, and local regulations.

11. How are image rights and consent handled?

Photographs are only used with prior parental and institutional consent, in full respect of children’s dignity, privacy, and image rights.

Support, Partners & Donations

12. How can individuals support Kids & Sparks?

Support can take many forms: financial donations, equipment donations, volunteering, partnerships, or simply helping spread awareness of the project.

13. How are donations used?

Donations directly support workshops, equipment, logistics, exhibitions, and the development of the project.
The priority is always direct impact on the ground.

14. What do partners and sponsors receive?

Partners gain visibility through a meaningful project, access to authentic content (photos, stories), and involvement in a human-centered educational initiative aligned with social responsibility values.

15. Are donations tax-deductible?

Tax deductibility depends on the legal framework and country. Supporting documentation can be provided when applicable.

Volunteers, Profiles & Impact

16. Do I need to be a photographer or an athlete to help?

Not necessarily. The most important qualities are a desire to share, kindness, and reliability.
Artistic or sports skills are a plus, not a requirement.
A selection process is applied, particularly for those involved in the transmission of photographic knowledge.

17. What profiles are you particularly looking for?

We are especially looking for:

  • workshop facilitators and assistants,

  • photographers and videographers,

  • athletes and sports facilitators,

  • logistical support,

  • communication and media contributors,

  • partnership and relationship managers.

18. Where are the children’s photographs exhibited?

The children’s work is exhibited in cultural venues, schools, partner spaces, and online, in order to highlight their perspective and stories.

19. How is the impact of the project measured?

Impact is assessed through participant engagement, feedback from educators, quality of creative output, and the children’s growing confidence and expression over time.
